El objetivo de Renault es competir con la Ford Ecosport. La única diferencia con el Dacia Duster es que tiene el Rombo y trae los grupos ópticos delanteros oscurecidos, el resto es todo igual. Se estima que estará equipado con 3 versiones de motor: 1.6 16V, 1.8 16V el mismo que incorporar la Nissan Livina y un motor 2.0 litros de 16V(el mismo que utiliza el Nissan Sentra) con tracción integral.
