General Motors de Brasil iniciara el proximo mes la comercializacion del Chevrolet Malibu en el mercado carioca, en su version tope de linea LTZ, que competeria en su segmento junto al Toyota Camry, Honda Accord y Ford Fusion
Fabricado en EEUU, el Malibu LTZ viene equipado con un motor 2.4 L acoplado a una caja automatica de seis velocidades con traccion delantera, o una caja secuencial que se comanda desde el volante mediante los botones (+) y (-) para subir o bajar las marchas a demanda. El rendimiento en ruta llega a los 14,5 km por litro mientras que en ciudad logra unos 9,4 km/l.
En el interior, el Chevrolet Malibu cuenta con aire condicionado con comando digital, computadora de abordo que monitorea la presion de los neumaticos, regulacion de asientos electrica, sensor nocturno, control electrico de espejos retrovisores que se oscurecen cuando tienen incidencia de luz, llave de encendido a distancia y sistema de sonido Bose con MP3/CD y entrada USB.
En cuestion de seguridad, el Malibu cuenta con asistencia de frenado de emergencia, ABS, EDB, control de estabilidad, y en el interior dos airbags delanteros, dos laterales y dos de cortina protegiendo a los pasajeros delanteros y traseros.
Segun anuncio General Motors, el Chevrolet Malibu LTZ tendra un valor inicial de R$ 89.900
